Brooke Miles Photography was established in 2004, by this gal, Brooke Miles!
(Well, Brooke got married in 2014 so she also goes by Brooke Ogden)
Anyhoo! Here is our story...
Brooke picked up a camera in high school when she was 12 and from that moment knew she loved photography. She also loved the drums and marine biology but that's another story!
Brooke worked in professional camera stores and photo labs since she was 16 years old which gave her some early film experience and a lot of camera experience, as well as printing and colour. She rubbed shoulders with some of Perth's great photographers and was inspired by them and their careers.
Launching her own business at 22 years old, Brooke spent most of her 20's learning, growing, and developing her style. And of course, chasing the sun around Australia and the world; not being a fan of the cold weather!
In 2008 Brooke did a photography stint in Airlie Beach and instantly fell in love with the Whitsundays. After a few years back and forth from Perth, she officially moved the business to Airlie Beach in 2011.
Since then, Airlie Beach has been the home of Brooke Miles Photography and we have become a leading photography studio in the region.

Introducing Alana...
Alana is a professional photographer from the Sunshine Coast and joined the BMP team in 2021.
With an infectious smile and a can-do attitude where nothing is too much trouble, you will absolutely love having this girl on your shoot!
Alana brings with her 4 years of photography experience. She was hired as her style was already aligned with Brooke's, and since joining the team has developed a stronger skill and style that match Brooke’s to a tee, so much so you won’t be able to tell the difference. Except on-site as she is clearly a younger version of Brooke hehe!
Brooke Miles Photography specialises in wedding, tourism, and commercial photography, both aerial and underwater photography as well as on the ground!

In 2017, Brooke founded a new brand
Providing art buyers, shoppers, and tourists fine art prints in a range of mediums, along with small gifts and souvenirs. In 2019, the ‘Brooke Miles’ brand went wholesale and these products are now found in stores along the Queensland coast, as well as the flagship gallery store in Airlie Beach.
‘Brooke Miles Photography’ and ‘Above and Below Gallery’ now operate beautifully side by side. Allowing this one very happy photographer to continue living her dream, inspiring others and helping clients achieve their goals.
